Google AdWords Course Details
The course title is Introduction to Pay Per Click Advertising & Google AdWords. It's for newcomers to the Internet marketing phenomenon known as pay per click (PPC) advertising, of which Google AdWords is still king. Businesses big and small, on line and off line use AdWords to generate sales leads, grow mailing lists, increase traffic to their web sites, and increase sales conversions. AdWords can be lucrative, and those with the right stuff report huge profits. But watch out for pitfalls such as competition from other advertisers, poorly written ads, and ad campaigns with ineffective keywords.
You needn't fear AdWords and you needn't be a geek or marketing guru to unleash its power. This course demystifies AdWords and concepts such as keywords and PPC advertising. You will learn how to set up a Google account and create an AdWords campaign from start to finish -- from writing your ad and selecting hundreds of relevant keywords and key phrases, which people will use to find your ad in a highly targeted way, to setting a campaign budget, tweaking your campaign and using AdWords tools.
Some time is spent on lab work with students writing sample ads, and on advanced topics such as how to copy your AdWords competitors' successes, and how to profit from AdWords with no products, no inventory and no web site.
My AdWords experience is an outgrowth of my eBay selling and teaching experience. As an eBay-trained Education Specialist, I teach the Basics of Selling on eBay course. My teaching area is mainly north Oakland County (map), but I will travel on demand throughout southeast and mid-Michigan. Communities include Holly, Fenton, Flint, Grand Blanc, Linden, Clarkston, Milford, highland, Hartland and Davisburg.
